17 players turn out for largest tournament draw in GPTT history

An epic night of table tennis action has come and gone and the aftershock will be felt for months, if not years.  "Dr. J" Johnny Johnson made a shocking return as did his old partner "The Punisher" Junior Gullett.  It was an iconic moment to see three of the top five players together again and in competition.  Chairman Crase says the "magic" is back.  "The Legend" Byron Risner fought through the most talented tournament field in GPTT history to once again become the King of the Table, for the ninth time, edging out archrival "The Punisher" Junior Gullett in two sets that were a war of attrition.  "Junior is there for every point, he does not quit, and if you let up on him for a second you'll pay for it.  He's an incredible competitor that I respect immensely, " says Byron Risner.  Click here for our details of one of GPTT's greatest nights ever.

KOTT 2009 Winners

KOTT 2009 made history with an incredible quality tournament that featured some of the best in league history.  We also had new players that tried out GPTT for the first time.  The 2009 KOTT featured the return of doubles, the Under 3600 which was extremely popular, and of course the 17th annual KOTT open which crowns our King of the Table for the year.  Congrats to everyone that succeeded and particpated in the tournament.  Special thanks to Langley Franklin who helped out with the bracketing!
